Stefano in Mastro Birraio, already back in 1995, took me to taste his home-brewed beers.
We opened them at the “Raja,” my first Pub in town. Time has passed, but passion and tenacity have won. Today, the Birrificio del Golfo is an essential company in our territory.

La Taverna del Vara
Born in 2015 from an old grandfather’s company in Zorza in the other Val di Vara, the Valle del Biologico, the farm grows hops to produce excellent beers.
The wide range of beers also touches territories of nearby Lunigiana with chestnut beer and the renowned Cinque Terre, where exceptional products are flavored with wine musts. Wheat, spelled, and chestnuts always come from the valleys near Zorza, where the Brewery is located.

Our gulf made a young Swedish fall in love who found inspiration here to create craft beers with different scents, a Northern European school that blends with our sea.
